Qigong (Chi Kung) has a long tradition in China. It is known as an over 5000 years old form of slow movements, breathing exercises, meditation, mental exercises, healing, postures and relaxation form. Although different stories about its development, it was most likely born out of the improve coping mechanism for changes in climate. In China there are over 4000 Qi Gong forms and Zhineng Qigong is officially recognized as one of the 5 most effective ones by the China Sports Buero. |
